This work is based on theZen story of Ikkyu,“Please make the tiger come out of the folding screen.”
The folding screen is designed so that the tiger appears to leap out when viewed through red and blue glasses.
一休さんの「屏風からトラを出してください」という逸話をもとにした作品です。
赤青メガネでトラが飛び出して見える屏風になっています。
